After last year’s successful roadshow, an original VISA Cash App RB 01 Formula 1 racing car is set to make a pit stop at five of our ORLEN and star petrol stations between 17 May and 20 June 2024 – Barleben, Dresden, Kelberg, Wesel and Rostock. Visitors will be able to see the just under 1,000-hp car up close for a week at a time. The vehicle will be presented in a specially made glass container. Following its stint in Germany, the racing car will be heading towards the Formula 1 circuit in Austria, where the Austrian Grand Prix is due to take place in Spielberg. With the ORLEN Group having taken over the network of 267 TURMÖL petrol stations beginning 2024, customers will be able to see the car at two TURMÖL petrol stations. The campaign is part of the Formula 1 sponsorship by Polish multi-energy group ORLEN S.A., which includes ORLEN Deutschland GmbH.
In addition to the chance to see the impressive presentation, fans in Germany can also take part in a competition on Instagram. Anyone who links a photo of the F1 car on the official ORLEN Germany Instagram channel (star.tankstellen) between 17 May and 20 June 2024 will automatically take part in a raffle for ten EUR 100 fuel vouchers.
The Italian team VISA Cash App RB 01 started competing in Formula 1 this season and belongs to Red Bull. The drivers of the car that can reach top speeds of 370 km/h are Daniel Ricciardo of Australia and Yuki Tsunoda of Japan.
