For the anniversary, the Elmshorn-based company will present itself for a year with a specially designed 20th anniversary logo. But it is not just the company logo that points to the company's birthdays: To mark the special event, ORLEN Deutschland is planning various promotions and events throughout 2023. Among other things, there will be a digital annual jubilee calendar with surprises and special offers each month for all customers at the nearly 600 star and ORLEN petrol stations. Right at the start of January, there will be a 20 per cent discount on the 5-star car wash. In addition to the monthly promotions and offers, for instance there will also be an anniversary edition of the popular star energy drink.

Various events are also on the Elmshorner's highlights calendar. In the field of sports sponsoring Formula 1-related activities are planned. Events with a more cultural background are to be carried out together with the Polish consulates in Berlin and Hamburg. Of course, with the 20th anniversary, there is plenty of reason to celebrate: An event with all petrol station partners is on the agenda during the summer months.

The history of ORLEN Deutschland officially begins in March 2003, with the purchase of a package of 494 petrol stations and the opening of the first ORLEN and star stations respectively. Over the past two decades, food-branded products have been introduced, the "star connect concept" has been developed and implemented at over 150 stations, main and jersey sponsorship has been taken over for the German handball record champion THW Kiel, and the network of petrol stations has been steadily expanding.

Since then, ORLEN Deutschland has become an established player in the German market with almost 600 petrol stations in its network and around 220 employees. In future, the focus will be on expanding electric mobility, alternative fuels and sustainable business. A comprehensive electromobility initiative, for example, was launched a few months ago with the aim of expanding the existing offer and adding additional mobility solutions by 2025 with an investment of €100 million. It is the largest project to date in the company's 20-year history. ORLEN Deutschland will develop steadily both strategically and in terms of personnel in the coming years and will remain a strong and reliable partner for its customers and an attractive employer for all employees.
